I grew up in Bremerton, WA. After graduating from Olympic High School, I received my BA in Sociology from Central Washington University. I spent 2 years after college in AmeriCorps where I learned the value of service to my community. I have a long history of non-profit and public organizational leadership, building community service programs, and educating my community in a multitude of ways, including health and safety with organizations like the American Red Cross. In 2018, my own journey with physical therapy sparked a new passion and understanding of human movement. This set me on a new path. I became a NASM-certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Physical Therapy Aide. Encouraged by my employers to further my education, I went back to school at Olympic College to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. I love working with a diverse population and have a strong desire to support everyone who walks through the door in reaching their goals and improving their quality of life. When I am not at work, I am at home with my two boys, lifting heavy things, or walking in the woods.
