Dr. Sean Spaulding is a founding partner of PRO SPORT + SPINE who resides in the community of Gig Harbor, Washington. Dr. Spaulding is a Sports Chiropractor with specialty interest in rehabilitation of the spine in the active population, including advanced techniques in neurodynamic mobilization, spine rehabilitation, and return to sport following spinal injuries. His background in strength and conditioning and alpine climbing, places Dr. Spaulding in a strong position to treat individuals who pursue fitness and outdoor recreational activities. His education originated at Eastern Washington University where he attained his degree in Kinesiology, he became Board Certified by the NSCA in strength and conditioning while continuing to pursue alpine experiences throughout the world.
After completion of undergraduate work, Dr. Spaulding opted for the evidence based four-year program offered by The University of Western States University. In his final year of chiropractic school, Dr. Spaulding was selected to complete a residency program with InMotion Orthopedics at PeachHealth St. John Medical Center. This setting allowed collaborative engagement with teams of medical providers to evaluate and treat an array of sports injuries. Upon completion, he went through a three-year diplomate program with the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board. Through his post-graduate training, Dr. Spaulding has been able to work alongside experts in the field of biomechanics, while evaluating and treating world record holding strength and power athletes. Outside of clinical practice, he enjoys coaching and working with local youth sport teams with emphasis on advancement and development of youth athlete performance and injury prevention.
