Laura went to the University of Colorado in Boulder where she majored in kinesiology. This was a natural choice after playing soccer all her life, sustaining injuries and spending a lot of time in the orthopedic surgeons’s office. Wanting to work in medicine, and to have the opportunity to participate in improving patients’ quality of life, she decided to pursue becoming a Physician Assistant. She attended the University of Utah PA Program and then started her career in Washington. Laura has worked as an orthopedic PA for 18 years. Her passion lies within getting to know each patient as an individual and working as a team to come up with a solution to their personal and physical needs. In her free time, Laura loves to run, ski, do yoga and travel with her husband and daughter. She loves the water and travels to destinations for swimming, snorkeling and surfing.
