PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Kaden earned his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Washington State University, where he gained valuable experience working with a diverse range of athletic teams, including football, basketball, volleyball, rowing, and more. After graduation, he worked as an athletic trainer at an outpatient physical therapy clinic, specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.

Driven by a desire to deepen his knowledge of rehabilitation and performance, Kaden pursued a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) at the University of New England in Maine. During his DPT program, he continued to work as an athletic trainer in various settings. He also dedicated his first year of study to becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Kaden’s clinical rotations were diverse, including an outpatient musculoskeletal and neurological clinic in Florence, Italy, and a rotation with the University of California, Los Angeles, where he worked with their athletic teams. He would go on to graduate in May 2024.

Kaden’s first post-PT job took him to Santa Clara, California, where he worked as a Seasonal Assistant Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer for the San Francisco 49ers. This role with professional athletes expanded his expertise in the return-to-play process and provided a unique opportunity to work with some of the world’s top athletes. Kaden’s special interests include Return to Sport/Performance, Sport Science, ACL Rehabilitation, Concussion Management, and Tendinopathy.

Outside of his professional life, Kaden enjoys spending time by the ocean with his wife, Shelby, their daughter, Isla, and their dog, Brodie.
