What is Graston Technique?
Graston Technique is an innovative form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions, and maintain optimal range of motion.
The Graston technique specifically addresses soft tissue lesions and fascia adhesion’s. These lesions and adhesion’s can cause pain, a decrease in range of motion, decrease in sensory motor firing, and functional deficiencies. When this technique is combined with specific chiropractic care and adjustments, as well as appropriate therapeutic exercises; the patient experiences a reduction in pain, improved function, and overall increase in enjoyment in activities of daily life.
