Professional Affiliations
Tara was born and raised in New York. She played collegiate lacrosse at SUNY Geneseo while double majoring in Biology and Psychology. Throughout her college career she sustained multiple ACL injuries, which led her to spend many hours in Physical Therapy. The positive impact Physical Therapy had on her life inspired her to pursue her doctorate in Physical Therapy at Stony Brook University. Tara additionally studied to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in order to gain knowledge to better serve the active community.
Tara began her career as a traveling Physical Therapist in Georgia, before joining the team at PRO SPORT in 2020 as their first Physical Therapist. She is motivated to help athletes and active individuals keep participating in all of the activities they love. In her free time, Tara enjoys exploring new places, hiking, going to the beach, photography, and spending time with friends and family.
