Nathan started his career focusing on athletic performance enchantment by obtaining bachelors and masters degrees in sports science, from Western Washington University and the University of Konstanz respectively. He then went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. Since then he has worked with various active populations, from weekend warriors to professional athletes . He has developed a particular specialization in helping running athletes through his experience working in a running clinic, performing 100s of gait analyses, learning from world-leading clinicians, coaches, and researchers, as well as writing an extensive research review on running gait biomechanics. Additionally, being a certified strength and conditioning and Olympic lifting coach ensures that he is able to provide the highest level of care to diverse athlete types. He has other special interests in field sports, strength sports, rock climbing, and grappling martial arts. As a healthcare provider Nathan feels the utmost responsibility to provide excellent care; to do this he uses evidence-based strategies, as well as a compassionate, patient-centered approach. In his free time you will likely find Nathan reading, climbing, biking, or finding new corners of the Cascade Mountains to explore.
